NETTLES, MARK LOUIS, 49, a former long-time Bowie resident, died Dec. 17, 2011 of natural causes. He was a resident of Prattville, Alabama. A 1980 graduate of Bowie High School, Mr. Nettles was born March 11, 1962 to the late James and Maxine Nettles. After growing up in Bowie, he moved to New Orleans and then to Prattville following Hurricane Katrina. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Nettles, and his nephew, Lance Corporal Edward Clydesdale. He is survived by his sisters, Maria Suzanne "Petey" Nettles of Crofton, MD and Maria Christine (William) Robichaux of Thibodaux, LA; nieces, Millicent Clydesdale (Dylan) Bateman, Marie Celeste Robichaux, Susannah Robichaux and Josephine Robichaux. A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 13106 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland 20720. A reception will follow the service.
